Thanasis Mitrou

Thanasis Mitrou is a Roma activist and project manager dedicated to improving the lives of Roma individuals in Greece. He made history as the only Roma student to enroll at the National Technical University of Athens, where he studied engineering. Currently working with an NGO, Mitrou focuses on developing programs that aim to facilitate education and social integration for Roma communities. He aspires to create a model for Roma inclusion in Greece that mirrors successful initiatives in other countries, advocating for equality and acceptance.
