Nghệ sĩ Nhân dân Thanh Hải was a renowned Vietnamese cải lương artist known for his extraordinary talent in traditional music. Born in Hải Phòng in 1957 into a family with a rich artistic heritage, he began learning musical instruments at the age of six and became proficient in several, including the guitar, đàn tranh, and đàn bầu. Over his career, he contributed significantly to the development of cải lương, participating in various prestigious performances and shows, including the popular À Ố Show. His passing on May 26, 2025, due to lung cancer, marked the loss of a beloved figure in the Vietnamese arts community.
