The Boomtown Rats
The Boomtown Rats are an iconic Irish rock band formed in 1975, best known for their hit singles like 'I Don't Like Mondays' and 'Rat Trap.' Led by frontman Bob Geldof, the band gained international fame in the late 1970s and early 1980s with their punk-infused rock sound and socially conscious lyrics. After a hiatus, they reunited in 2013 and continue to perform to audiences worldwide. They are set to share the stage with Billy Ocean and other artists at the Rewind Festival in Dublin this June.
