Thelma Stober was a survivor of the July 7, 2005 London bombings, where she was on a train at Aldgate station when a terrorist detonated a bomb next to her, resulting in the loss of her lower left leg. Reflecting on her experience, Stober has expressed a desire to forget the traumatic events, yet she feels a responsibility to share her story and honor the memory of the 52 victims who did not survive.
