Theo Kipping

Theo Kipping is a researcher at Imperial College London who specializes in climate science. He recently highlighted the alarming findings of a report by the World Weather Attribution network, which revealed that climate change has increased the risk of heatwaves, leading to devastating wildfires in Spain and Portugal. Kipping stated that without industrially caused warming, conditions conducive to such fires would only occur once every 500 years, rather than every 15 years as is currently observed.
