Theodor Roosevelt

Theodor Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States, served from 1901 to 1909 and was known for his progressive policies and strong leadership during a pivotal time in American history. He was instrumental in domestic reforms such as the establishment of national parks and the regulation of monopolies, as well as foreign policies that emphasized American power on the world stage. Roosevelt is also remembered for his role in negotiating the end of the Russo-Japanese War, for which he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1906. His presidency set the stage for America’s emergence as a global power.
