He served for a decade as a drumming teacher at a local music school, where he was remembered for his dedication to music and his commitment to combating injustice. D'Alba was killed in combat near Sumy, becoming the seventh Italian casualty in the ongoing conflict. His determination to help others led him to Ukraine, where he engaged in active duty and supported the local community, even performing for children in hospitals during his downtime.
