Thomas William Holburne

Sir Thomas William Holburne (1793-1874) was a naval officer and art collector who amassed a significant collection of fine arts and decorative arts, which he bequeathed to the city of Bath. His collection is now housed in the Holburne Museum, showcasing over 4,000 objects, including miniatures and porcelain, reflecting the artistic tastes of the 18th century.
