Thubten Jigme Norbu

Thubten Jigme Norbu was a prominent Tibetan spiritual leader and the elder brother of the 14th Dalai Lama, recognized as the reincarnation of the Taktser Rinpoche. He played a significant role in Tibetan affairs during the exile community's formative years, particularly in liaising with the CIA regarding Tibetan resistance efforts against Chinese control.
