Thumper

Thumper, a 46-year-old homeless woman in Ottawa, has been grappling with addiction and the struggles of homelessness for nearly two years, following a traumatic past that includes a cancer diagnosis and the loss of her cousin to a fentanyl overdose. Known for her routine of panhandling in the ByWard Market, she dreams of finding stability and recovery, recently deciding to move to Sudbury in hopes of rekindling her relationship with her boyfriend, Tate, and seeking a better life.
