Thurston Moore

Thurston Moore is a renowned indie-rock guitarist best known as a founding member of the influential band Sonic Youth. Emerging from the New York no-wave scene in the early 1980s, Moore played a pivotal role in pushing the boundaries of guitar music, incorporating experimental techniques and noise into his work. After the band's dissolution, he continued to explore new musical dimensions, recently debuting 'Guitar Explorations of Cloud Formations' at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, a suite inspired by the unpredictable Irish weather.
