Tiana Dinham is a promising young scholar from Jamaica, recently named the 2026 Jamaica Rhodes Scholar. A graduate of Mount Alvernia High School, she is currently studying Geographical and Earth Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With aspirations to specialize in Water Science, Policy and Management or Sustainability, Enterprise and the Environment, Tiana is deeply committed to addressing environmental challenges. Her recent achievement comes in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, which severely impacted her home region, and she dedicates her success to the people of western Jamaica, hoping to inspire hope and resilience in her community.
