Tiana Mangakahia

Tiana Mangakahia was a talented Australian basketball player who garnered significant recognition during her time with the Syracuse Orange women's basketball team. Known for her exceptional skills on the court, she was an All-American player and a source of inspiration to many for her resilience in the face of adversity. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, Mangakahia bravely continued to fight the illness while also pursuing her basketball career both professionally and as a coach. Her legacy is marked by her strength, kindness, and love for the game, which she shared with many before her untimely passing at the age of 30.
