Tiberije
Tiberius was the second Roman emperor, reigning from 14 AD to 37 AD. He was the stepson of Augustus and is often remembered for his somber and reclusive nature. His rule saw the expansion of the Roman Empire, but it was also marked by political intrigue and paranoia. Tiberius became increasingly distrustful and withdrew to the island of Capri, where he ruled with an iron fist, leaving day-to-day governance to his subordinates. His reign raised issues related to succession and governance that influenced the future of the Roman Empire.
