Tijen Karash

Tijen Karash is a journalist who gained national attention during the failed coup attempt in Turkey on July 15, 2016, when she was forced at gunpoint to read a statement from the coup plotters on state television. Following the events, she transitioned to teaching at the TRT Academy and continues to lecture at various universities in Turkey.
