Tim Stafford

Tim Stafford is a Rangitīkei farmer and fencer renowned for winning the 2025 Wiremark Golden Pliers Singles Championship, a prestigious title in New Zealand fencing. Operating a sheep and beef farm in the Turakina Valley, Stafford also runs his own fencing business. Despite facing setbacks due to a shoulder injury and farm commitments that kept him from competing for several years, Stafford made a remarkable comeback, demonstrating the importance of experience in the highly competitive sport of fencing. He has served as the president of NZ Fencing Competitions and continues to be an influential figure in the fencing community.
