Timea Laurincová

Timea Laurincová is a twelve-year-old chess prodigy from Topoľčany, Slovakia, who has quickly risen to prominence in the chess world. She has achieved remarkable success, including being a three-time Slovak champion in classical, rapid, and composition chess. Her journey began at a young age when she became captivated by the game while watching her parents play. Timea trains rigorously with two coaches and has demonstrated her talent by winning numerous tournaments, including the European and World Championships. Her meeting with chess legend Garry Kasparov in Lithuania marked a significant milestone in her budding career.
