Timur Rahmonov
Timur Rahmonov is the newly appointed ambassador of Uzbekistan to Lithuania, having previously served as the ambassador to Latvia. He presented his credentials to President Gitanas Nauseda on February 11, 2024. Rahmonov has a significant diplomatic background, having worked in various capacities within Uzbekistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1999, including roles in embassies in Poland, Italy, and Spain. He also served as the Deputy Governor of Khorezm Region and held the position of Consul General in Novosibirsk, Russia. He is a graduate of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
