Tino Pattiera (1890-1966) was a renowned Croatian tenor celebrated for his remarkable vocal talent and performances in prestigious opera houses across Europe, including the Vienna State Opera and the Semperoper in Dresden. His exceptional artistry earned him accolades from both critics and audiences, who often likened him to the Greek god Apollo. Beyond his musical career, Pattiera was known for his generosity and kindness, frequently returning to his hometown of Cavtat and sharing his success with the local community. He spent his final days in Villa Pattiera, gazing at the beautiful landscapes of Cavtat, a place that held a special significance in his heart. His legacy continues through his family, notably his grandson, the famous singer Ivo Pattiera.
