Todor Chalovski

Todor Chalovski was a prominent Macedonian poet, literary critic, essayist, and translator, known for his deep love of the Galichnik region where he spent his childhood. He was instrumental in founding the Galichka Literary Colony in 1992, which brought together poets from across generations to celebrate Macedonian literature. Chalovski's work often drew on themes of nature and cultural heritage, and he had a particular fondness for the traditional songs of his homeland. He passed away in 2015, shortly before the literary event he had organized, leaving a lasting legacy in Macedonian literature.
