Tomás Ayuso, brother of Isabel Díaz Ayuso, was in the news due to his involvement in the controversial procurement of masks during the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to a legal investigation; however, he was ultimately absolved of any wrongdoing by both the European Prosecutor's Office and Spain's Anti-Corruption Prosecutor.
