Tomas Kloucek was a former professional ice hockey defenseman who played in the NHL for teams including the New York Rangers and the Nashville Predators. Drafted 131st overall by the Rangers in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, Kloucek made his NHL debut in the 2000-01 season and played a total of 141 games over five seasons, accumulating 10 points. Following his time in the NHL, he continued his career in Europe, playing in the Czech Republic and France before retiring in 2017. Tragically, Kloucek passed away at the age of 45 due to a skiing accident in his native Czechia.
