Tomeyo Ono

Tomeyo Ono, a 101-year-old storyteller, has captivated audiences with her performances of traditional folktales since she started her storytelling career at 70. After losing her home to the 2011 tsunami, she has dedicated herself to sharing the experiences of survivors through her art, and she continues to write and recount stories, driven by the desire to preserve memories for future generations.
