
Tomi Reichental
Tomi Reichental was a Holocaust survivor and campaigner born in Slovakia in 1935. He endured the horrors of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp during World War II, losing 30 family members in the Holocaust. After moving to Ireland in 1959, he remained silent about his past for decades until a documentary in 2008 brought his story to light. Reichental dedicated his later life to educating others about the Holocaust, speaking to over 100,000 students and receiving numerous awards for his contributions to human rights and Holocaust education. He passed away at the age of 90, leaving a profound legacy of dignity and enlightenment.
