
Tomika Reid
Tomika Reid is an acclaimed cellist and composer known for her innovative contributions to the jazz and experimental music scenes. A recipient of the MacArthur Fellowship, Reid is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM) and has collaborated with various artists and ensembles, including the Art Ensemble of Chicago and her own groups. She has also taught at Mills College and founded the Chicago Jazz String Summit.
