Mr. Tônh, a 39-year-old man from the Ba Na ethnic group, is a farmer in Gia Lai province who has been struggling against severe drought conditions affecting his rice crop. Despite his efforts to pump water from a deep well to save his nearly 1,400 square meter rice field, he faces the grim possibility of having to convert his crop into feed for livestock due to the continuing lack of rainfall.
