Tony Abbey is a 51-year-old international haulier from Tullow, Co Carlow, who appeared in court following his arrest related to the seizure of €3 million worth of suspected herbal cannabis at Rosslare Europort. With nearly 25 years of experience in the haulage business, Abbey was charged with possession of cannabis and possession for sale or supply after customs officials discovered 150.6 kg of the drug in his truck upon his return from Spain.
