Toper Hassan

Toper Hassan is a 58-year-old lawyer who has been implicated in a high-profile murder case involving the shooting of Izzet Eren, the head of the Tottenham Turks gang, in Chișinău, Moldova, on July 10, 2024. Allegedly involved in a conspiracy to kill Eren, Hassan traveled to Moldova multiple times to coordinate logistics for the assassination, motivated by a personal vendetta linked to his wife's brother's murder in London in 2012. Previously, he led a law firm in London until being suspended by a disciplinary tribunal in 2008. Hassan is currently fighting extradition to Moldova, claiming potential threats to his safety and arguing that the case could be politically motivated, although a UK court dismissed these claims, stating there is sufficient evidence for his prosecution.
