Toshiharu Ikeda

Toshiharu Ikeda is a Japanese filmmaker known for his work in the horror and exploitation genres. He gained prominence during the 1980s, particularly with his film 'La Vengeance de la sirène' (1984), which has recently been rediscovered and restored for modern audiences. Ikeda's early career included a stint in erotic film production, after which he co-founded the independent Director’s Company, collaborating with notable directors like Kiyoshi Kurosawa.
