Toshiyuki Tsuyoshi

Toshiyuki Tsuyoshi is a descendant of Iwo Jima's original inhabitants who has been vocal about the need to confront the island's past. His efforts are centered around ensuring that the memories and stories of the islanders are not forgotten, especially as the country observes the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
