The mayor of Tashkent is responsible for overseeing the administration and development of Uzbekistan's capital city. Recently, he signed a decision to allocate over 2 billion som for the construction of pedestrian crossings and the installation of iron fences along streets to enhance road safety and prevent traffic accidents.
