Trần Văn On

Trần Văn On is a former pilot who served in the Vietnam War and was part of the 'Quyết thắng' squadron that bombed Tan Son Nhat Airport on April 28, 1975. At 78 years old, he reflects on his unique position of having fought for both the South Vietnamese Air Force and later for the North after the fall of Saigon. He struggled with his identity and acceptance in post-war Vietnam for over three decades until he finally received official recognition for his contributions to the revolution, allowing him to reconcile his past and embrace his role in the nation's history.
