Trillo

Trillo is a Whanganui man who faced significant challenges after a motorcycle accident in 2015 left him paralyzed from the chest down. Despite struggles with depression and aggression toward medical staff, he had never previously threatened his life. His tragic death in December 2022, ruled a suicide by the coroner, highlighted serious flaws in communication between police and hospital staff regarding his mental health risks.
