Truong Hoan Thien, a 40-year-old farmer from Dong Nai, Vietnam, has gained recognition for successfully cultivating the unique 'Buddha's Hand' banana variety. After transitioning from a career in construction materials to agriculture, he experimented with this exotic banana, which he discovered during a farm tour. This year, he anticipates a remarkable revenue of nearly 400 million VND during the Lunar New Year season due to the high demand for his aesthetically pleasing and fragrant fruit. With a commitment to organic farming practices and community support, he has expanded his plantation to over 1.5 hectares, aiming to promote sustainable agriculture in his region.
