Tsar Alexander II

Tsar Alexander II of Russia (1818-1881) was known for his significant reforms in Russian society, including the emancipation of serfs. He was also a notable patron of the arts and sciences, with a personal interest in horology. One of his prized possessions was a pocket watch made by Heinrich Moser, which he gifted to Lieutenant Vladimir Georgievich Lazo during the Russo-Turkish War.
