Tsutomu Nishiwaki

Tsutomu Nishiwaki is an 80-year-old owner of a family-run noodle store in Tokyo's Tateishi Nakamise shopping arcade, having dedicated nearly 60 years to his craft. As the last remaining noodle seller in the arcade, he serves as the head of a local business association, voicing both hope and regret over the impending redevelopment that threatens to erase the cultural heritage of his community.
