Tu Moumou, a 52-year-old woman, tragically passed away after accidentally coming into contact with discarded hydrofluoric acid, a highly toxic chemical known as '化骨水' or 'bone-dissolving water.' Her death, which occurred in Yuhang District, Hangzhou, has raised serious concerns about the management and safety regulations surrounding hazardous materials, highlighting significant regulatory gaps that allowed such a dangerous substance to be carelessly discarded in a public area.
