Tullio Ghi

Tullio Ghi is a prominent Italian gynecologist and obstetrician, currently serving as a professor at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and as the director of the Obstetrics and Gynecological Pathology Unit at the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCCS. He is widely recognized for his pioneering work in the field of intrapartum ultrasound, particularly the innovative trans-perineal ultrasound technique that aids in determining the best delivery method for babies, thereby contributing to a decrease in the number of cesarean sections in Italy.
