Prof. Tunde Ope-Davies is an accomplished educationist and former Senior Special Assistant to Babatunde Fashola, the former Governor of Lagos State. Born in Owerri, Imo State, and raised in Lagos, he faced various challenges in his early life, including health issues and financial struggles. Initially aspiring to be a lawyer, he transitioned into academia, eventually becoming a professor at the University of Lagos. He has played a pivotal role in advocating for improvements in Nigeria's educational system, particularly concerning lecturer salaries and digital humanities. His establishment of the Digital Humanities Centre at the University of Lagos marks a significant contribution to integrating technology into humanities education in Nigeria.
