
Tuong Quang Luu
Tuong Quang Luu is a Vietnamese-Australian diplomat and advocate for refugee rights who played a significant role during the tumultuous period following the Fall of Saigon in 1975. He chose to remain in Vietnam at great personal risk while many of his colleagues fled, ultimately escaping the country in a harrowing journey across the seas that led him to Australia. Luu has since become a prominent figure in the Vietnamese community, known for his contributions to multiculturalism and his work as the head of SBS radio, where he championed the rights of refugees.
