Turama Hawira

Turama Hawira is an iwi historian and Te Pou Tupua of Te Awa Tupua, known for his dedication to preserving the history and culture of Ngāti Hāua. He has been actively involved in the iwi's journey towards Treaty settlements and has reflected on the importance of honoring past leaders while looking toward a hopeful future.
