Tvrtko Smital

Tvrtko Smital is the Head of the Marine and Environmental Research Institute at the Ruđer Bošković Institute. He is an expert in marine ecology and pollution, and has emphasized the importance of addressing both visible and invisible contaminants in the Adriatic Sea. He recently contributed to the 'Sretno more' project, discussing the potential of new technologies to enhance marine monitoring and management efforts in Croatia.
