Txa Txu

Txa Txu is a young Indigenous artist from the Pataxó community in Brazil, known for his connection to traditional art forms and his dedication to cultural preservation. Recently, he collaborated with Brazilian artist Christina Oiticica on a unique art project that involved burying paintings under a sacred gameleira tree, reflecting both his heritage and the fusion of contemporary and traditional artistic practices.
