
Uday Kumara Wutthler
Uday Kumara Wutthler has been appointed as the new police media spokesperson, bringing extensive experience in law enforcement and communication to the role. He holds a law degree from Buckinghamshire University in England and a master's degree in human rights from the University of Colombo. Fluent in Sinhala, Tamil, and English, Wutthler has served in various capacities within the police force and is recognized for founding the Police Inspectors' Typing Club. His appointment follows the transition of the former police media spokesperson, Senior Superintendent of Police Buddhika Manthunga, to the position of Senior Superintendent of Police in the Polonnaruwa division.
