Ufuk Kıran is a bus driver who gained media attention after being seriously injured in a targeted shooting incident on April 4, 2015, when the Fenerbahçe football team’s bus was attacked while en route to the Trabzon Airport. Despite sustaining a life-threatening injury, Kıran managed to steer the bus to safety, preventing further harm to the passengers.
