Uggi Þórður Agnarsson

Uggi Þórður Agnarsson was a prominent Icelandic cardiologist, born on November 19, 1949, in Reykjavík. He graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Iceland in 1976 and specialized in cardiology in Connecticut, USA. Uggi had a distinguished career, contributing to heart disease research, and he served as a specialist at various hospitals, including Landspítalinn and the Akranes Hospital. He was involved in significant health studies and taught at the University of Iceland. Uggi was also known for his love of nature, hiking, and skiing. He passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 75.
