Ulrich Limmer

Ulrich Limmer, born in 1955 in Ruhpolding, is a prominent German film producer and screenwriter known for his work in various film genres. After studying at the Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film (HFF) in Munich, he began his career at Bavaria Film, where he was involved in notable projects such as the film "Schtonk!" and the "Sams" series, co-written with Paul Maar. He founded Collina Film, producing acclaimed films like "Räuber Hotzenplotz" and the award-winning "Nebel im August." Limmer has also contributed to academia, establishing the 'creative producing' program at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and serving as a professor at HFF Munich. Currently, his latest film, "Karli und Marie," is being showcased in cinemas, highlighting his continued influence in the industry.
