
Um Nyobe
Um Nyobe was a prominent Cameroonian nationalist leader and a key figure in the fight for independence from French colonial rule. Born in 1913, he became a member of the Cameroon People's Union and later the Cameroon National Union, advocating for self-determination and political rights for the people of Cameroon. Nyobe was known for his charismatic leadership and commitment to social justice, which made him a symbol of resistance against colonial oppression.
