Umar Dzhabrailov was a prominent Russian businessman and influential figure in Chechen society, known for his political aspirations and connections to high-profile personalities. He gained notoriety for his candidacy in the Russian presidential elections in 2000 and had relationships with celebrities like Naomi Campbell and Ksenia Sobchak. His career was marred by legal troubles, including arrest for hooliganism and a history of mental health struggles, which culminated in a previous suicide attempt in 2020. Dzhabrailov's life came to a tragic end at the age of 68, when he was found dead in a hotel room, reportedly with a firearm beside him.
