Umaraw Begum

Umaraw Begum was the daughter of Nawab Ilahi Bakhsh and the wife of the illustrious poet Ghalib. Their marriage in 1810 brought together two significant figures of their time, and Umaraw was known to have influenced Ghalib's poetic expressions. Despite the challenges they faced in their personal lives, including the loss of several children, her presence played a crucial role in Ghalib's literary journey.
